A healthy morning routine helps us feel in control and motivated. And a daily personal finance routine can help our day move even smoother! Should this be your 2022 financial plan?

Setting aside clear and organized financial goals could build your savings by 70%. But how?

#1: Start journaling

Write down your weekly, monthly and annual financial goals. Do you want to increase your credit score? Lower your credit card utilization? Start an emergency or vacation fund? Anything is possible! This will keep your goals organized and easier to achieve.

#2: Check those apps!

Spend 1-2 minutes every day checking your banking apps and accounts. This will help minimize fraud, and also helps you reflect on exactly what you choose to spend your money on every day.

#3: Hold yourself accountable

So you’ve written down your goals and tracked your spending habits. Now, track your progress against those goals every month to ensure they’re  still aligned with your current situation.

Establishing a weekly financial routine can help us form better economic habits in the new year. So much of our lives consist of time consuming activities – your finance routine shouldn’t be one!
